Civil Engineer, Construction Observer

Sunrise Engineering Civil Engineer or Construction Observer (Green River, WY): Sunrise Engineering is seeking a professional with qualifications as a Civil Engineer or Construction Observer. Project duties will depend on experience and qualifications.

Civil Engineer: Construction engineering for civil construction and infrastructure projects, monitor and document contractors work, communicate with the owner, attend and lead project meetings, process contractor pay requests, negotiate change orders, administer the contract documents. Engineering design, project management and permitting of Civil Engineering projects. Req: Leadership, communication and project management skills, civil design and construction engineering background with 3-15 years experience.

Construction Observer: Monitor the contractors work, assist project engineer in reviewing engineering and shop drawings, provide clarifications and interpretations of the drawings and specifications to the contractor. Keep detailed notes, report regularly, ensure owner satisfaction. Requires: Leadership and construction management skills, construction and inspection background with 3-5 years of experience.
