Front Counter Salesperson - Hardware

If so, we want you to join our team at Inventory Sales, an EFC International company. We're currently seeking a Front Counter Salesperson - Hardware to contribute to our Affton, MO location.

Position Summary: As a Front Counter Salesperson - Hardware, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring the sales area is clean and organized. Working closely with our Warehouse and Sales teams, you'll assist in various aspects of store operations to uphold our commitment to excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Serve as a positive ambassador for Inventory Sales, assisting customers with inquiries and purchases.
• Proactively address customer needs and concerns, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
• Ensure prompt and courteous response to all customer inquiries, whether in person or over the phone.

Store Operations:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise throughout the store.
• Monitor and manage back stock levels to support efficient operations.
• Collaborate with team members to execute merchandise displays and promotions.
• Communicate any issues or suggestions for improvement to management.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail sales preferred, with a focus on hardware or construction materials.
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and climbing.
