Inventory Associate - Full Time/Direct Hire - $18-19/hr + Benefits!!!

Pay: Up to $19/hr, depending on experience

Title: Inventory Associate

Description:

The Inventory Associate will keep track of the parts and supplies in the warehouse and manages picking parts for manufacturing orders, service part requests and spare parts requests. Duties include inventory separation, counting the number of available parts or products, keeps records and maintain inventory area organized and clean.

Responsibilities

• Pull inventory parts and assemble kit for manufacturing

• Manage receipt of new inventory by inspecting, designating storage area and stocking

• Attend service part request by picking, packing, labeling, and shipping parts to customers

• Perform visual inspection on incoming parts assuring proper delivery and documentation

• Updating inventory count, report discrepancies and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business

• Ensures that shelves are well organized

• Carry material to/from work-cells

• Follow directives from area supervisor, production manager or operations manager

• Be flexible to work in other areas (e.g.: testing, packaging, etc.) as necessary

Skills and qualifications

• Operate an order picker (must) and drive a forklift (nice ability to have)

• Basic computer skills and record keeping

• Able to carry boxes of up to 30 ponds

• Handy and capable to work with handy tools

• Dependable, honest, and dedicated

• Attentive to detail

• Good communication skills

Additional Considerations

• Will be trained on the job

• Air conditioned and clean environment

• Working hours: 7:00a to 3:30p or 8:30a to 5:00p with 30 minutes for lunch and two 15 minutes breaks.

• Able to work overtime as needed

• Work in a team environment and with specified deadlines
