Machine Operator
- $18 to $20 Hourly
- Full-Time
The Machine Operator position is responsible for the operation of assigned equipment in a manufacturing facility. This position is responsible to adhere with all SOP's, Batch record and machine operating manuals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the machine set-up and clean-up
- Responsible for following product specification based on batch record.
- Line Operators are trained to perform all tasks required on a production line.
- Responsible for maintaining the production lines running smoothly and efficient.
- Ability to train others and work in a team
Required Skills/Abilities
- Package in an efficient, clean and sanitary manner following SOP's & cGMP
- Assist in non-production areas when needed
- Assist in the inspection process
Education and Experience:
- Ability to understand and operate supplement-producing equipment.
- Knowledge of GMP and OSHA requirements
- Working knowledge of HACCP principles
- Familiarity with packaged goods manufacturing processes
- Must be able to read and review batch records

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous operator experience, knowledge of equipment (set-up, function, and light maintenance) preferred
- Perform very physical duties, including but not limited to pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting,
- Entrepreneurial attitude towards continuous improvements to product safety systems

- Perform repetitive tasks; Stand during most of the shift, pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, walking, stooping, bending, reaching and crouching.

- Must be flexible with schedule or part of the normal work schedule.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
