Job Description
Are you a psychologist looking for a remote opportunity working with children? We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to conduct diagnostic evaluations with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and other childhood behavioral/mental health conditions. The Clinical Psychologist also provides individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and groups services (social skills) for children, adolescents, and young adults. Additionally, they are responsible for conducting psychological testing with clients on an as needed basis to assess progress across a number of domains (clinical updates).

Responsibilities
  • Perform initial evaluations, suicide risk assessments (Suicide Severity Rating Scale, also known as C-SSRS), and cognitive screening instruments, develop diagnostic formulation, and provide recommendations to the treatment for treatment.
  • Perform psychological assessment (i.e., diagnostic differential, cognitive, personality, integrative, decision making capacity) following referral.
  • Conduct individual and/or group therapy (e.g., psycho-education, relapse prevention, solution-focused, behavioral, and insight-oriented).
  • Provide crisis intervention with individuals and debriefing with staff.
  • Provide educational and experiential in-services and trainings with staff.
  • Represent Psychology and DBHDS as a professional, ethical psychologist.
  • Participate in treatment team(s) as scheduled and per personal caseload.
  • Serve as a behavioral consultant to assist in developing behavior plans and monitoring individual progress.
  • Complete forensic evaluations (Competency to Stand Trial to include restoration, Mental Status at the Time of the Offense, and NGRI reports to the court).

Requirements
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
COVID-19 Vaccinated
Minimum 2 years experience in a Hospital setting
