Manufacturing Quality Inspector & Operator

The Quality Inspector Machine Operator is a do as needed/assigned role. Some days this position will be operator focused and others you will be inspection focused. We will also train you on first shift before moving to second shift.

Quality Responsibilities:

• Performs inspections to determine if a job is appropriately set-up and is ready to run.
• Performs Incoming inspection on goods returning from outside vendors.
• Notifies employees of bad parts. 
• Performs containment of non-conforming products and materials.
• Perform routine measurement of production and maintain records of measurement results.
• Prepares Certificates of Analysis for out-going shipments.
• Assists Quality management with ISO 9001 Document Control, Corrective Action, and New Product Introductions.
• Performs record keeping for quality documents.
• Lead shift change meetings to brief the oncoming shift on recent quality activities.

Operator Responsibilities

• Package and sort product in within previously established methods.
• Communicate with the Quality department to minimize any nonconforming product.
• Understand the basic workings and safety features of all equipment and machinery that they are using.
• Maintain cleanliness in their work area.
• Assist in the training of other personnel as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Physical demands of job include but are not limited to the following:

• Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
