Job Description

We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team!

You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our clientele.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations
Perform federal & state income and payroll tax returns i.e. Forms 1040, 1065, 1041, 1120-S
Perform account reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Collaborate with coworkers to gather financial information
Participate in mentoring programs to develop accounting skills
Assist with special projects as assigned
Adherence to standard requirements
Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
Report analysis and findings to management team

Qualifications:

Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
A positive attitude
A team mindset
