A CPA, or Certified Public Accountant, is a licensed accounting professional who has met specific education and experience requirements and passed the CPA exam. In finance and accounting, CPAs are trusted to provide services such as auditing, tax preparation, financial analysis, and consulting for individuals, businesses, and organizations. Their expertise ensures compliance with financial regulations and accurate financial reporting. Many organizations require or prefer CPAs for critical financial roles due to the rigorous standards and ethical guidelines they uphold.
