Job description

Job Description:

An Accounting Clerk is responsible for responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and more.

Specific Job Duties:

  • AR:
    • Daily invoicing of shipments
    • Collection calls and emails
    • Customer payment processing
  • AP:
    • Daily invoicing entry with three-way matching
    • Credit card charge entries
    • Check run reports
  • Customer Service:
    • Answering inbound calls, and directing to appropriate departments
    • Following up with customers and vendors with order/payment information
    • Communicating with staff regarding updates and confirmations

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Accounting Certificate or Degree preferred
