IT Business Analyst II

CHAMPtitles is a SaaS company that optimizes the vehicle title management ecosystem using digitization. In short, we speed up the time to process a title transfer for all participants in the title ecosystem. The CHAMP CSM will lead customer success initiatives, keep the company focused on customer outcomes, and play a central role in directing the future of the product.

What you will do:

You will work with product managers to review and analyze documentation and conduct relevant research and actional analysis based on what is needed by the product to serve our clients and support the product roadmap. You will define user, process, and product requirements. You will partner with other departments within the company, such as the client services group and software development, to gather information as part of your analysis efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively assist the management team in their delivery of existing and new projects with a positive attitude, a focus on precise delivery, while adopting a quality-based approach.
• Lead for requirements gathering, enhancing the end user experience, supporting the Product Manager, collaborating with the development teams, and provisioning high quality comprehensive reporting updates to senior management.
• Assists with communicating the technical challenges/hurdles to product owner/sponsor and help resolves the issues related to business.
• Provide status to team leads, project managers, and delivery managers.
• Communicate and interact with appropriate areas of changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow, and functionality.
• Define and develop the organization’s requirements engineering policies, procedures and tools.
• Ensure internal product stakeholders’ needs/expectations are met and promote transparency by helping communicate through Agile practices.
• Analyze and collect data, validate and translate business needs to create functional/non-functional specifications for large and complex projects for a system to solve a given business problem
• Assist business sponsors as needed with the creation of work requests, project charters, and detailed BRDs, defining business rules and requirements, using templates and tools consistent with the methodology being employed
• Performs gap analysis and documents results.
• Take ownership of helping design the product, supporting agile development while working closely with technology teams, including other business systems analysts and business customers.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, solutions, and company offerings

Education:

• Bachelor’s preferred in analytical major – Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, or similar work experience

Qualifications:

• At least 1 -3 years of experience utilizing business analysis skills – such as requirements analysis, agile methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work across multiple departments and outside clients
• Organized, independent, communicative, proactive, resilient, dutiful, and responsible.
• Experience in both traditional waterfall project planning methodologies and agile product development.
• Requirements capture and IT business analysis.
• Experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Experience with Jira would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of the IT development cycle and web based applications
