Job Description
Our employees are passionate about the work they do every day and they know how to have fun while achieving business results. Parking Attendants are responsible for assisting drivers and effectively parking the customers. Cashiers are responsible for collecting payment, salesmanship and general customer reception. **We are NOT the airport. We are a private airport parking lot**
Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent required. Cashiering experience, 1 year or more. Able to calculate and perform basic arithmetic functions in the application of revenue accounting and cash accounting. Must have excellent verbal communication skills and basic computer skills. Must be able to work in a team environment.
Cashiers might have to stand or sit for prolonged periods. The cashier should be able to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a positive attitude and a smile.
- Help direct customers on where to park and work closely with the drivers.
- Must be able to answer inquiries about all rates, services and promotions.
- Utilize etiquette and professionalism during all customer interactions– phone or in person.
- Accurately process revenue transactions and receive payment by cash or credit card.
- Accurate data entry of discount code.
- Communicate clearly over radio
- Must be able to multi-task
- Ability to prepare necessary cashier shift reports
- Compliance with company rules, policies and standard operating procedures.
- Able to troubleshoot in a fast paced environment
