Job Description

Career opportunity in the East Brunswick, NJ 08816 market for a Family Law Attorney

Direct HIre opprtunity - from day 1 you will be an employee of the Firm

Must have at least 3 years' of relevant experience to the position

Pay rate range $90K - $150K+ annually based on relevant experience

Firm has multiple locations throughout New Jersey

Hiring need is immediate, candidate must be able to start no later than June 1, 2024

Prior experience experience handling your own family law case load is a must!

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of solid family law experience and be able to work independently or seasoned family law attorneys with 10-15 years' of experience. The candidate must be self-motivated, driven, an advocate for clients, have the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.

The associate will be responsible for all aspects of family law litigation including:

- Client communication

- Drafting of pleadings

- Discovery

- Motion practice

- Hearings, trials, and mediation

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of family law experience or a judicial clerkship;
Current license to practice law in New Jersey;
Strong work ethic, time-management and organizational skill;
Excellent research and writing skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
