Training Specialist Entry Level - Remote

Summary
The iPro Training Specialist is responsible for delivery of client training via remote access software tools, email, phone and messaging software. The iPro Training Specialist is also responsible for the creation and development of training content and documentation as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
~ Conduct virtual training sessions with customers.
~ Make follow up calls to inquire why customers are not using out product (iPro) and to point out the benefits of the software so they are more likely to use it.
~ Install software on customers computers virtually.
~ Communicate technical information to customers with a broad range of experience levels.
~ Document all communication in appropriate issue tracking software (i.e. status sheet, Netsuite, MOM and JIRA).
~ Evaluate current training and installation processes to find innovative ways to improve the customer experience, streamline processes etc.
~ Stay current on enhancements to Car-Part products and services.
~ Maintain a current customer list.
~ Keep an up-to-date schedule with all customer appointments.
~ Troubleshoot basic hardware or software problems.
~ Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution assigned through development, deployment and closure.
~ Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle.
~ Track and report on project milestones.
~ Provide assistance to Customer Support teams including chat rooms and phone requests when available.
~ May be asked to do translation work, if applicable.
Essential Knowledge and Skills Requirements
~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
~ Excellent interpersonal skills.
~ Knowledge of phone, email and instant message etiquette.
~ Understanding of adult learning principles.
~ Ability to think outside of the box to solve creative or technical problems.
~ Ability to edit and simplify materials for a clear content presentation.
~ Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
~ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
~ Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
~ Willingness to work a varied schedule as needed.
~ High proficiency level with Microsoft Office Products (specifically Word and Excel)
Non-Essential but Valued Skills and Experience:
~ Customer service experience
~ Experience preparing and delivering training content
~ Experience in an automotive salvage yard environment, auto parts or automotive repair environment.
