Junior Estimating Analyst

Position Overview: PPC Flex is seeking a motivated Junior Estimating Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pricing analysis and support while working closely with our Pricing team. Approximately 25% of your time will be dedicated to project work, with the remaining time focused on supporting day-to-day pricing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pricing tasks and generate quotes for submittal.
• Provide ad hoc pricing analysis as required by the team.
• Initiate or support continuous improvement projects related to pricing strategies.
• Perform internal analysis on similar products to optimize pricing strategies.
• Complete other miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned by the Pricing team.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Radius is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment with fluctuating workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Self-motivated and extremely detail-oriented.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

• B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance or business.
• 1-3 years experience working in a pricing or financial analyst role in manufacturing and converting or related industry.
• 1-3 years of experience working with ERP systems, particularly manufacturing and costing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills creating complex, inter-related models and formulas.
• Superior communication skills, analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal guidance
• Ability to assess highly complex scenarios and propose alternative solutions.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.
• Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform financial data into recommendations to management.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
