Dance Studio Artistic Director

Production Company Dance Centre in Longmont seeks a full time Artistic Director. We are looking for a candidate who can make a difference in the lives of Longmont youth, lead a team of 15 employees, is highly motivated, has strong customer service skills, and can improve upon or develop new business systems and policies.

Monday-Thursday evenings

Some Saturday availability is required for rehearsals, performances, and events.

Role of the Artistic Director:

• Visionary of the studio
• Hires and trains teachers
  
• Develops Curriculum
• Creates class schedules
• Connects with and assists parents and students
• Communicates with teachers and admin leadership weekly
• Subs classes if needed
  
• Project Management
• Expense tracking
• Assists with basic social media marketing
  

What we’re looking for:

• Ability to lead people and projects
• Ability to confront problems and figure out solutions
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Must possess significant tact and courtesy with strong customer service skills
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite (eg Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with a dance studio and/or competitive teams is preferred
