King Air Captain
- Part-Time
This role is responsible for operating company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and Metrea Special Aerospace (MSA) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The King Air Captain, is responsible for pre-flight planning, conducting aircraft pre-flight check, and coordinating with company site leads and aircrew responsible for mission execution and operations.

Essential Functions Statement:- Operate a King Air in accordance with FAA and company/customer directives.
- Monitor airspace, weather, radio communications, mission flight boundaries, other air traffic, and aircraft systems.
- Coordinate all flights with appropriate Fixed Based Operators, Air Traffic Contact (ATC) facilities (military and civilian), Company Site Leads, and Mission Coordination Services.
- Ensure safe, effective and efficient flight operations to include identification or aircraft maintenance faults and corrective actions.
- Perform ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) flights in day, night and all weather conditions (within defined safety limits).
- Must be able to operate from remote, austere locations, possibly on unimproved runways.
- Completes all safety of flight documentation in accordance with applicable industry and FAA standards.
- Completes all administrative paperwork and required forms both prior to and at the completion of the flight.
- Maintains customer satisfaction with the services offered by the company.

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentDuring deployment, employees may be living under field conditions and must be able to work with little supervision in austere or arduous environments. Work environment varies based on contract.
Physical DemandsThis is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This position has daily working hours varying Monday through Sunday. Hours and work shift may vary in accordance with business needs. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from department manager. You may be scheduled to work approximately 2-3 months on OCONUS assignment and rotate out for approximately 2-3 months.

Required Education and ExperienceEducation: High School Diploma or GED Experience:
- 1000+ Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time.
- 300+ hours PIC in multi-engine turbo prop aircraft Computer Skills: Must be able to operate a computer.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Experience:
- Prior overseas rotation experience, particularly in USAFRICOM and/or USCENTOM area of operations.
- Experience flying a King Air 200/300.
- FAA multi-engine commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating.
- Must possess and maintain a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- Must have a current US Passport
- Preferred Certificates and Licenses BE 300 Type rating
Must be able to accomplish any and all duties with little or no assistance. Must have good command of the English language; oral and written.
Work Authorization/Security ClearanceEmployee must be a US citizen.
Employee must be able to hold and maintain a Top Secret (or higher) Clearance Level.
