We have an immediate need for a full-time Job Coach Supervisor

Schedule: Days - Hours may vary and can include nights and weekends
Location: Illinois and Missouri - Alton, Swansea, St. Louis and surrounding counties and community
Travel Required: Locally to community sites and surrounding counties daily
Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour

Reporting to the Director of Community Employment, the Job Coach Supervisor facilitates vocational training services which provide people who have different abilities opportunities to work with integrated teams and receive work support as neededachieving the highest level of independence possible. Ensures the implementation and provision of services required by Illinois Division of Rehabilitation Services. Ensures quality services are provided to clients including vocational exploration, job development, and counseling for persons with disabilities as well as other services to determine person's strengths and weaknesses. Provides 1 -1 on-site direction, support, supervision, and case management.
Responsible for supervision of Job Coaches scheduling and assigning coaching duties to fill the needs of the Supported Employment Program, Customized Employment and Milestone Placement programs as assigned in the Illinois area, manage the scheduling of referrals, assessments, and assignments of the Job Coaching team. Maintain accurate records, provide professional communication with managers, clients, and employers. Encourage effective outcomes in both Illinois and Missouri. Maintain up to date understanding of the expectations for each program and techniques that will provide best practices and quality outcomes. Gain working understanding of services and outcome requirements for paid contract services. Build an effective company culture that embodies our company values to achieve goals and objectives. provides services resulting in client placement into employment that meets the client interests and desired employment as well as meets the individual service plan and funding source goals of placements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Client Relations - Promote a culture of person-centered services that advances the Company's mission to provide quality care and services in a community-based setting to individuals with disabilities.
  2. Community Worksite Development - Work with businesses in the local community to identify potential assessment and jobs for individuals with disabilities. Assist clients in securing assessment sites based upon clients goals and interests
  3. Client Services, Training - Understand services required under funding agency contracts and trains staff on expectations. Review new files and referrals. Work with SEP Case Manager to ensure new clients have scheduled appointments. Accompany, train, and provide 1:1 support to clients at community integrated worksites and provide performance feedback and re-direction as needed.
  4. Documentation - Ensure Company has up-to-date informati9on for each client case file. Generate reports for individual funding agencies including coaching, progress reports, chronological notes, Individual Service Plans (ISPs), service hours and staffing.
  5. Effective Leadership - Encourage effective outcomes and accountability. Plan, monitor, and appraise job results; evaluate team for continual improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness as assigned. Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures. Mentor and develop the team through training, problem resolution and performance evaluation.
  6. Perform other related duties and assignments as required
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate's degree in related field, or H>S> Diploma and Training in related field with 2 years relevant experience.
  • Prefer 1+ years of supervisory experience in social services role and/or experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities, Mental Illness, and other disabilities.
  • CPR, 1st Aid, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training provided by the company must be successfully completed within the first 4 months to be certified and annually thereafter for CPR, 1st Aid and CPI to maintain the position.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must pass criminal background check. Must pass various State and Federal registry checks. Must pass DCFS Abuse and Neglect Tracking System check. Must pass driving history check and Company policy criteria, maintain valid driver's license and be 21 or older to drive on Company business.
  • Use of personal insured vehicle for Company-related travel is required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Sitting, standing, hearing, speaking, bending walking, squatting
  • Movement - Kneeling required to perform CPR practice sessions, complete skills testing and use as required
