Assistant Warehouse Lead

Jacobson Floral Supply, a dominant Northeast Floral Wholesaler, is a Well Established (80 years in business), Dynamic, Profitable, company. We have an opening for an Assistant Warehouse Lead.

This position is full-time with benefits – medical, dental, 401(k) match, vacation, holidays, etc.

You, as the successful candidate, will be a key player in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. You will be assisting the Warehouse Manager in directing associates, uploading and receiving products, as well as picking and preparing orders for shipping. You will supervise employees on their daily tasks. You will also assume the responsibilities of the warehouse and warehouse operations in the manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist the warehouse manager in achieving daily objectives.

· Supervise staff, assist in performance reviews, handle personnel questions, etc.

· Pull product from stock slots in accordance with customer orders and pick tickets.

· Generate invoices for customers.

· Unload products from trucks and shipping containers into product slots using pallet jacks and forklifts.

· Driving company vehicles ranging from a delivery van to a 26’ box truck.

· Meet shipping schedules and time restraints of orders.

Requirements

· Some supervisory experience.

· Ability to lift 60 lbs.

· Previous warehouse experience. Having supervised is Big+.

· Ability to operate a forklift.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Experience with warehouse software, especially Sage X3 or similar ERP/WMS systems.

· Dependability, reliability, punctuality, and critical thinking.
