Block Clerk - America's Auto Auction Las Vegas Only Wednesday

America's Auto Auction Las Vegas is looking for a par time Block Clerk to join our team! This person will work each Wednesday (Auction Day!). This will be paid at a flat rate for the day and will run from approximately 9:00am-1:00pm.

The Auction Block Clerk provides efficiency on the day of the auction. The Block Clerk assists the auctioneer and sale day staff as necessary. The Block Clerk exhibits superior customer service at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times.
2. Always exhibit ‘hands on’ and direct approach with customers.
3. Enter Sales information for in-lane/online Simulcast.
4. Listen closely to auctioneer and watch sales monitors for online/internet bids.
5. Pick-up block tickets and titles at each block during the sale.
6. Separate the block tickets between the ‘ifs’ title attached and titles to be worked while in the title room.
7. Ensure the Title Attached paperwork is filed by seller in the proper boxes in the title room.
8. Ensure all Block Tickets with Titles paperwork is filed in the Tagged Titles to be Worked box.
9. Separate all ‘ifs’ delivering LB-ifs to the office manager and filing the remaining in the appropriate box in the title room.
10. Ensure all buyer payments are matched to block tickets. Ensure that there is a correct match.
11. Work well independently as well as a team player.
12. Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
13. Performs other duties as necessary.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Previous data entry skills preferred
• Skills: Should be highly organized, self motivated and self disciplined. Highly customer service orientated. Computer proficient. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Environment: The environment of the Block Runner involves the collecting of data from the Auction Block stations as the vehicles are passing through. Those working in this position are subject to temperature changes, all types of weather conditions, fast-paced environment, elevated noise levels and at times fumes and odors associated with vehicle exhaust at times
