Industrial Clean Room Technician (Temp-to-Perm)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Industrial Clean Room Technician is responsible for the pre-fabrication of specialty bearings products, through the lubrication process in a clean room environment. This individual will work cross-functionally, supporting the warehouse as needed, performing a variety of warehouse related responsibilities, such as: receiving inbound freight, processing and shipping outbound orders, and light assembly.  This position will be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory and a clean, organized warehouse and clean room environment.  The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. **This position will start off on a temporary basis, with the option to grow into a permanent position**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform day-to-day operational warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading materials, picking, packing, and shipping orders, and utilizing handheld tools.
• Manage a high-volume of specialty bearings products through the pre-fabrication and lubrication process
• Perform consistent quality checks with a high attention to detail of all product 
• Complete accurate data entry by using multiple computer systems and programs
• Operate material handling machinery including pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, scales, and forklifts
• Stocking and moving material correctly throughout the warehouse
• Maintain accurate data inventory by assisting with cycle counts and physical inventory
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• 1+ years’ work experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to use basic hand tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous fulfillment center or warehouse experience
• Experience working in a clean room environment
• Experience assembling or greasing miniature and/or precision products
• Forklift certification and reach truck driving experience
