Job Duties/Description:
Essential Job Functions:
- Representative Payee Accounts
- Receive and process vouchers from Case Managers.
- Input data, print checks and distribute to Case Managers.
- Forward to Accounts Payable any requests for payment.
- Social Security
- Track income deposits for Payees.
- Reconcile SSI account to vouchers.
- Provide Case Managers with Beginning/Ending balances for tracking.
- Prepare and participate in SSI Audits as needed.
- Complete any requested SSI Reports.
- Filing of vouchers and SSI Reports.
- Accounts Payable (Backup)
- Accounts Payable processing of invoices and checks on a weekly basis.
- Year end 1099 processing.
- Filing and maintenance of AP files
- Retrieve data as needed.
- Vouchering bills and printing checks.
- Reconciling accounts payable general ledger accounts.
- General Ledger
- Data entry of monthly journal entries.
- Assist in timely completion of multiple bank reconciliations.
- Support monthly reconciliation of GL sub accounts
- All other assignments as needed.
Job Requirements/Preferences:

Education:
- Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration required,
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Accounting,
- GASB experience preferred.
40 Hour Work Week
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Hour long lunch break included.
