Job Description: Junior Financial Advisor

Objective: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Financial Advisor. In this role, you will play a vital role in assisting senior advisors with client management, financial analysis, and the development of comprehensive financial plans. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, with a strong interest in finance, to gain valuable experience and build a successful career in wealth management.

Classification: This is a Full-Time Exempt position with a Base Salary plus Commissions and reports to the Head of Investments.

Job Location(s): Kokomo, Indiana

Essential Functions for a Junior Financial Advisor:

  • Assist Senior Financial Advisors in developing and implementing financial plans for clients.
  • Conduct research on investment products and strategies.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for clients.
  • Attend client meetings and take detailed notes.
  • Update client databases and maintain accurate records.
  • Market financial products and services to potential clients.
  • Stay up to date on current financial trends and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the wealth management team.
  • Maintain all necessary licenses and registrations as required.
  • Adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidelines

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiar with financial planning software and technology
  • Strong interest in and understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and Indiana Insurance License (preferred, but not required).
