Job Description

Experience Required:

2+ years recent experience as a Cath Lab Tech.

Knowledge of cardiac catheterization testing, mechanics and equipment.

Ability to perform procedures to provide support to cardiologists and registered nurses in the Cardiac Catheter Lab.

Ability to execute safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a Cardiologist.

Adheres to all regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help perform optimal patient care.

Experience with mentoring and training students is a plus.

EDUCATION:
Other: Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
Required: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Required: ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Required: CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist

At Least 1 of the below Certs:

RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy

ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists

RCIS-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

CVT-Certified Cardiovascular Technician

CCT-Certified Cardiology Technician

RVT-Registered Vascular Technologist
