Electrician

We are actively seeking a dynamic Electrician Journeyman to join our start-up venture, where you will play a pivotal role in building and expanding our company. In addition to ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems for our diverse range of clients, this dual-task position also involves actively seeking and securing new jobs through estimating and sales efforts. As a key player in our start-up environment, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

1. Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
2. Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
3. Troubleshoot motor and control systems
4. Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
5. Actively pursue new job opportunities through estimating and sales efforts, earn commission as a tech.
6. Contribute to the growth and development of our start-up company
7. Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in electrical engineering or related fields
2. Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
3. Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
5. Proven ability to effectively estimate and sell electrical services
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Willingness to work in a dual-role capacity, balancing traditional electrician tasks with estimating and sales responsibilities
8. Motivated and self-driven, with a passion for contributing to the growth of a start-up company
