Responsibilities

  • Analyze construction schedules and recommend workarounds and schedule improvement ideas.
  • Advise Project Manager of change orders with schedule impact.
  • Validate contractors’ project schedule accuracy.
  • Develop, report, and manage data for portfolio of assigned projects.
  • Actively participate in a identify scheduling process improvements.
  • Liaison with contractors’ scheduling resources.
  • Communicates schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports.
  • Maintain critical path analysis and reporting deviations against the master schedule.
  • Maintaining change management program.
  • Assisting with identifying out-of-scope work items and creating change order requests to be presented to client.
  • Providing critical path analyses, identifying problem areas and creating work-around solutions

 

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering. 
  • 4 years minimum of construction project scheduling experience; including scheduling setup, project sequence, analysis of dependencies, communication with project team and reporting.
  • Must possess Engineer in Training (EIT) License and be an active member of the CIAPR.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Must have working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
