Tool Maker

A growing and reputable component manufacturer is looking for an experienced toolmaker and/or machinist that is able to assist in making tools and fixtures and working closely with management to help troubleshoot and support production needs in regards to tooling.

Qualifications:

• Experience with and able to operate tool room equipment such as a manual lathe and bridgeport
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Operates all standard inspection, measuring equipment and gauges and works to close tolerance
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimum supervision
• Ability to analyze and improve designs to improve quality and efficiency
• Flexible hours and schedule/willing to accommodate part time or full time hours
• Excellent opportunity for a "tinkerer", inventor, or someone with an interest in working with their hands with manual machines
