Job description

Job Description:
  • 10 years in a role as a mold maker benching and fitting mold components together with in a mold base.
  • 10 years or greater showing proficiency of working with the following equipment.
  1. Knee Mill
  2. Turret or manual lathe
  3. Surface grinder
  4. Radial arm drill press
  5. Tig welding of mold cavities
  6. 2 years of Laser welding ( Yag or flex weld repair application).
  7. Understanding of tool steels regarding working these steels.
  8. CNC VMC desirable
  9. CMM Desirable
  10. Working in a mold shop or tool shop making new cavities or details.
  11. Must have own measure tools.
  12. Programing experience of Master Cam desirable.
  • Self-starter (work from verbale directions and blueprints).
  • Able to work off hours or off shifts.
  • Ability to demonstrate an ability to perform trouble shooting and resolve issues from the manufacturing floor regarding failures.
  • Desire to continue specific training to promote the growth of the model shop.
  • Open and willing to mentor new team members.
