Regional Placement Coordinator

The Regional Placement Coordinator provide initial credential program information to candidates and coaches and facilitates appropriate coach and candidate matches.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Recruit districts and coaches and advise them of ACSA Leadership Coach requirements,
procedures, policies, timelines and program forms and tools.
● Recruit and advise interested CACP candidates on the application process and program
requirements.
● Match Clear Administrative Credential Candidates with an appropriately qualified Leadership
Coach within a 30-day timeframe of candidate enrollment.
● Facilitate meetings as assigned including coaching meetings, program orientation, exit
interviews, etc.
● Provide ACSA with all requested local program data, event schedules and contact information
for districts, coaches and candidates.
● Attend and co-facilitate, as needed, bi-annual CNET meetings and quarterly Clear
Administrative Services Credential Advisory Board meetings.
● Attend CACP meetings, program orientation and yearly planning retreat.
● Participate in exit panels as needed at the completion of the program.
● Assists with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing accreditation process and visits.
● Work independently and varied hours driving to multiple work locations.
● Maintain confidentiality in all district, coach and candidate relationships.
● Maintain a mobile device or computer in working condition and have internet access.

EDUCATION:
Must possess a valid, current California Clear Administrative Services Credential. Master’s degree
preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
Five years of progressively responsible administrative experience of California public schools including
professional learning program design, responsibility for K-12 curriculum, instruction and staff
development. Principalship and central office level experience preferred.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
● Knowledge of California’s credentialing system and Board of Institutional Review.
● Establish and maintain collaborative work relationships with members of association, the general
public, other staff, and team members.
● Multi-task and work with time sensitive deadlines. Work effectively under pressure, to exercise
good judgment under conditions of stress.
● Communicate effectively, before large audiences and in writing, with the ability to convey
comprehensive, concise and technical information in a persuasive and informative manner.
● Demonstrated successful experience as an instructional leader, supervision, curriculum,
instruction, collaboration, and school climate.
● Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and learning.
● Knowledge and use of educational technology applications, such as email, Learning
Management Systems, Google Drive and OneDrive.

This position is considered a remote position within California. Pay is set at $60.00 per hour.
