ROLE : Neo4j Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Duration: Contract 12 Months

We are seeking a talented and experienced Neo4j developer to join our team. As a Neo4j developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining graph-based solutions using Neo4j. You will work closely with our software development team and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust, scalable, and efficient graph database solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Designing graph database schemas, including defining nodes, relationships, and properties based on application requirements.
• Developing efficient data models that leverage the graph structure to represent complex relationships between data entities accurately.
• Writing, optimizing, and executing Cypher queries to perform various operations such as creating, reading, updating, and deleting data from the graph.
• Utilizing built-in graph algorithms or developing custom algorithms to analyze and extract insights from the graph data.
• Optimizing database performance by tuning queries, creating appropriate indexes, and implementing best practices for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Integrating Neo4j with other technologies and frameworks to build end-to-end solutions.
• Handling data migration tasks, including extracting data from various sources, transforming it into a graph-friendly format, and loading it into Neo4j.
• Implementing security measures such as authentication, authorization, and encryption to protect sensitive data stored in Neo4j.
• Monitoring database performance, diagnosing issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the health and reliability of the Neo4j database.
• Documenting database schemas, queries, and development processes for reference and knowledge sharing within the team or organization.
• Staying updated with the latest developments in graph database technology, Neo4j features, and best practices through self-learning, training, and participation in relevant communities and events.
