Job Title:  Solder/Electronic Assembler
Hours:  Monday through Friday 
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Long Term Contract
Pay Rate is $20.00

JOB DUTIES:
•Completes required assembly and soldering activities for assigned orders while consistently maintaining product quality and safe work practices
•Assembles parts together utilizing assembly documents and various hand tools
•Documents tasks with an understanding of quality control process
•Solders parts utilizing specifications
•Ability to solder to J-STD-001 Class 2 and meet IPC-A-610 class 2 inspection criteria
•Meets and maintains daily production rates and goals as established and required by the company
•Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
•Complies with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per company requests
•Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment, and/or material to Manufacturing Manager
•Demonstrates attention to detail
•Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
•Observes safety and security procedures
•Performs other activities as needed and requested

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION: 
•3+ years of experience assembling electronics and/or soldering class 2
•High School Diploma or GED preferred
•Good hands-on skills
•Detailed and results oriented
•Ability to work and communicate well with other employees and management
•Solder Certified J-STD 001
•IPC-A-610 soldering skills for; cable assemblies, connectors
•Windows PC, Microsoft Office

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Standing and sitting for extended periods of time
•Ability to perform work utilizing manual dexterity of the hands
•Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach above and below shoulders, and full use of upper extremities
•Lifting up to 50 pounds in a safe and prudent manner
•Ability to easily move through an approximately 45,000 square foot warehouse building 
•Ability to read, write, and understand English
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
•Correctable vision and hearing
