What You'll Be Doing:

• Craft and implement annual plans for resource development, fostering relationships, and engaging in donor acquisition and stewardship.
• Create compelling materials showcasing our impact and manage grant strategy with funders.
• Cultivate strong relationships with major donors and funding sources, ensuring personalized interactions.
• Develop marketing communications and materials that effectively convey our agency's mission and impact.
• Utilize market research to generate leads and cultivate prospects, leveraging insights to drive strategic activities.
• Utilize data analytics to evaluate effectiveness and identify impactful opportunities for community engagement and resource allocation.
• Ensure all development and media activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Certified Fundraising Executive - CFRE preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in non-profit donor engagement, development and marketing

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Proven track record securing significant gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency with social media platforms
• Knowledge of the Greater Cincinnati community and philanthropic landscape

Physical Requirements:

• The employee is frequently required to walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch. (The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds).
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Keyboard data entry required.
