Local machine shop is looking for an experienced Tube Mill Operator.
Tube Mill Operator Schedule:
6:00 am - 4:30 pm (Monday – Thursday) Overtime worked on Fridays.
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- The operator is responsible for monitoring measuring and inspecting tubes or defects visually and by touch.
- Operate a tube mill for a full shift depending on overtime.
- Attention to detail.
Machine Operator Duties:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Complete all applicable paperwork.
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
- Must be able to read tape measure.
- General math skills are a must. Add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, and decimal points.
Machine Operator Work Environment:
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Frequently exposed to wet, hot, and/or humid conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
