Think Custom Gifts & Tees in North Riverside, IL is looking for one mall kiosk specialist/team franchise owner to join our team. We are located at 7501 Cermak Rd.

POSITION SUMMARY:

You will be tasked with interacting with multiple customers, taking their orders, and producing some on-the-spot products (at the kiosk). You’re expected to learn knowledge of the product assortments available to the customers. You will be responsible for educating customers on their choices and timing options available, which results in the opportunity to provide custom gift and apparel solutions. The Mall Kiosk Specialist has to have the drive to succeed, without hands-on supervision (after training). Everyone has the opportunity to become a franchise owner. • Physical Position – which requires employees to spend 100% of their working time in some form of physical motion such as, performing repetitive finger, hand, and wrist motions, as well as reaching, bending, assisting customers, moving between register, computer work, print/assemble buttons, make t-shirts, etc. You'll be expected to effectively prioritize and manage tasks and timelines to meet the customer's needs
• Focus on Service: Demonstrates a passion for engaging with customers with the intent to identify and meet the customer’s needs
• Cleanliness: Ensures an inviting environment for customers by maintaining a neat, clean, and organized kiosk. Cleaning - dust, wipe glass and shelves, organize, etc.

• Safety: This job requires that you work with various machines, printers, and heat presses (of up to 400° temperatures) ~ so you must be alert at all times

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with High School Diploma / GED
• Must have superior communication, written and organizational and time management skills with the ability to interact with others effectively
• Necessary computer skills including open, saving, and sending electronic files; experience using email; basic knowledge of Microsoft Word (or similar programs)
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and possible holidays; you’ll also have the added authority of opening and closing the store
• Must be available to work off-site – i.e., hired events, promotional meetings, etc.
• Must be able to run and work the store alone at various periods
• *Required* completion of background check

PREFERRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

• Willingness and preference to follow processes, safety standards, and policies
• Experience working in retail and or fast-paced customer environment
• Bilingual (Spanish) speaking and writing abilities are a plus
• Basic cash handling on POS system
