Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Shifts: Flexible hours between 7:00am - 5:00pm

Reports to: Customer Service Manager/General Manager

Pay: $19 - $24

Location: Batavia, IL 

Requirements: Background, Drug test, E-verify, Resume, Interview 

Job Summary: Coordinates production of die-cutting and die-making with customer and production staff. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Additional duties may be assigned.

•   Coordinates production of die-cutting and/or die-making services with customers’ requirements

•   Confers with customers throughout production to keep them informed of status of job

•   Solicit and resolve inquiries and complaints

•   Obtain approval of materials, and to procure information, materials and equipment needed by established personnel to process order

•   Determine supplies, materials, and equipment needed for job order

•   Monitors progress of job order throughout production

•   Confers with establishment personnel and alters production schedule and job order to expedite timely processing of job in accordance with customers’ requirements and company standards

•   Responsible for processing orders placed by customer via phone, fax or email

•   Quoting jobs as specified by customer, using in-house price book and knowledge of company standards

•   Develops and maintains customer specifications sheets in CyFrame

•   Reads and/or scales blueprints and samples

•   Train and monitor workflow of new employees

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•   High School graduate or GED Equivalent

•   Fluent English                                                                              

•   Strong math and problem solving skills

•   Computer proficient

•   Ability to read and understand blueprints

•   Practical understanding of manufacturing, equipment and workflow

•   Strong organizational skills

•   Solid documentation skills

 Physical Requirements:

•   Ability to sit and work at a computer terminal for long periods of time.

•   Able to bend, twist, stoop, reach and lift materials up to 50 lbs.

 General Comments:  This is high-speed, high-pressure production work in a competitive manufacturing environment.  Employee must be able to work under stress and pressure to meet customer deadlines.  All employees are responsible for quality control and must meet production standards.
