Established Winston-Salem law firm with a sophisticated Workers’ Compensation and Employment Law Practice is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to work with its senior attorneys. Ideal candidate has prior work experience performing legal assistance and case management in high volume workers’ compensation and employment law practice. Job responsibilities include regular communications with clients, managing attorney calendars, scheduling of case related events, creating case and medical chronologies, assisting claim investigation and management, and preliminary drafting of legal documents. Candidate must be able to work independently, must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
