Position Title: Press Operator

Location: Auburn Hills

Shifts Needed: Day or Night

Days | Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p Nights | Monday- Friday 4p-2:45a + Saturday 12p-6p

Responsibilities

• Analyze plans, drawings, work samples, specifications and work orders to determine work requirements, sequence of welding assignments
• As may be required, forklift driver and overhead crane operation
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Ability to read blueprints in detail
• Ability to identify and find specifications
• Knowledgeable in geometric tolerances (understand and recognize all symbols)
• Thorough understanding of general tolerances
• Comprehend sections and views
• Understand reference system
• Ability to operate presses
• Use of hand tools (drill motors, grinders, etc.)
• Ability to saw, miter, and fit fabrications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
