The Nerve Conduction Technologist/ EMG Tech will performa nerve conduction studies and assist physician with needle exam.
Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- The nerve conduction technologists/ EMG techs are responsible for knowing EEG Technicians scope of practice and working within it.
- Setup, operate and maintain EMG equipment.
- Monitors patients during tests
- Reports findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation
- Calibrates, troubleshoots, or repairs equipment and corrects equipment malfunctions. Performs equipment diagnostics.
- Assists in training technicians or other staff members.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Graduate of Nationally Accredited Neurodiagnostic program is preferred
- - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT)
- Furnish proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Travel Required
Able to commute among clinic locations according to work schedule and clinic needs.
Schedule
- 8 hour shift
- Monday - Friday
