Software Developer

Join our team at Cobalt Benefits Group and start an exciting new career in employee benefits solutions. As a Software Developer, you'll play an important role in helping us offer customized, self-funded insurance options to our clients and members.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners and AppDev team members to understand business process needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and refactor in-house data extract/transformation console applications and web-based workflow management utilities.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, contributing to software development standards, code reviews, and version control.
• Act as a technical resource for server-based third-party applications within the AppDev team scope, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting as needed.
• Monitor and address daily performance events, ensuring optimal functionality.

• Minimum two (2) years hands-on experience required.
• Self-starter with the ability to independently solve problems and collaborate effectively within the team and with end users.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL (Microsoft or PostgreSQL), and Visual Studio. Experience with Blazor or ReactJS is advantageous.
• Previous experience in healthcare, employee benefits, or EDI, particularly in a B2B and B2C environment, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred.
