Coating Floor Installers

What we need: A motivated and organized individual to assist in the installation of Epoxy products. Experience is preferred in either Epoxy Flooring, Painting or Concrete. We are looking for a team player that takes pride in their work, in order to help complete installations in an efficient, clean and timely manner. Applicant must be willing to continue learning and work hard!

Essential Functions:

• Operating machinery such as large floor grinders and sanders.
• Calculating epoxy mix ratios.
• Estimating square footage and job costs.
• Ensuring quality and satisfaction with customers.
• Working under strict deadlines in residential and industrial scenarios.
• Meeting with clients and inspecting sites to determine the most appropriate flooring solutions.
• Advising clients about foreseeable costs before installation begins.
• Removing existing flooring and discarding of this material, if applicable.
• Clearing the work surface from dust, debris, and obstructions.
• Grinding and chipping floors, lifting 60-pound bags, mixing product, installing product on floor and cleanup.
• Providing a resilient, attractive, and low-maintenance surface on the floor.
• Laying floor coverings in establishments such as buildings, restaurants, homes, offices, and factories.
• Having solid knowledge of the epoxy installation process.
• Vacuuming and blowing grinded surface to prepare for epoxy.
• Assisting in ‘chipping’ sidewalls and hard to reach areas.
• Receives instructions from supervisor.
• Abides by all OSHA and Houck safety guidelines.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Required:

• 2-3 years installing Epoxy floors
• Prior experience operating Grinders & sanders
• Reliable Transportation
• Driver License
