Interior Designer | Project Manager

Project Managers are responsible for the successful management of Interior Design projects from start to finish including client interaction, schematics, design presentations, design development and coordination of construction documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Consults with Design Director and Client to determine client needs, function, and spatial requirements.
• Creates project calendar per client’s scope of work and is responsible to meet all project submittals. Manages client expectations with regards to project scope and schedule to ensure the client understands the time frame in which they will be provided.
• Collaborates with team & Design Directors in preparing Design presentations and construction documents to meet all project deadlines:
• Floor plans, furniture plans, Lighting Plans, mill work details and schedules (plumbing, appliances, doors, finishes, lighting, finish, and hardware) to develop full set of construction plans.
• Coordination of 3D Renderings, Color Elevations and Color Plans.
• Creates Design Presentations based on Director’s design intent.
• Facilitate the design and documentation process with architects, designers, and other external service providers, reviewing their work for accuracy. Initiates and maintains contact with other key project individuals for clarification, coordination of critical issues.
• Provides a weekly status report to Studio Manager.
• Responsible for maintaining positive client relationships throughout project. Keeps client apprised of project progress on regular basis.
• Oversees and coordinates with FF&E Designer in the FF&E selection and purchasing process. Ensuring adherence to design intent in all design and construction documents and carry through.
• Prepares custom furniture drawings and coordinate with fabricators on custom furnishings.
• Fulfills daily activities per clients request and as per internal weekly meetings.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, clients & vendors.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $75,000.00 per year
