Full-Time Preschool Teacher for Building Kidz of Vista

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Greet children and parents and drop-off & pick-up
• Supervise class when the Lead Teacher is out of the classroom
• Cover shifts & vacations for Lead Teachers
• Adhere to and act in accordance with Building Kidz mission and values
• Observe the children and respond accordingly to their needs
• Demonstrate knowledge of Building Kidz philosophy and curriculum expectations
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow and learn
• Partner and communicate with parents to educate and inform them of progress, daily activities
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and order
• Implement Building Kidz curriculum for children of varying ages and needs

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Meets education and experience criteria required by the state
• 12 units of ECE or CDA (will consider someone with 6 units and a plan to get the remaining 6)
