Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a highly skilled Concrete Estimator/Project Manager with extensive experience to contribute to the growth and diversification of our non-union concrete contracting firm. This role will be pivotal in spearheading our expansion efforts into new markets while continuing to strengthen our presence in existing ones. As a key member of our Concrete/GC divisions, you will be instrumental in overseeing projects across various sectors including Civil, Heavy and Highway, Wastewater, and Infrastructure within the New England region. Candidates with a proven track record in Marine construction, Energy Sector projects, and established connections with National builders, engineers, and suppliers will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for market expansion and project acquisition.
Conduct thorough assessments and estimations for concrete projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Assume a leadership role in project management, overseeing the execution from inception to completion, while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients, builders, engineers, and suppliers to foster partnerships and drive business growth.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making and enhance project outcomes.
Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence throughout all project phases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator/Project Manager within the construction industry.
Strong proficiency in project management methodologies and estimation techniques.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, builders, engineers, and suppliers.
Sound knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and standards.
Proficiency in relevant software applications such as MS Office, project management tools, and estimating software.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
