Job Description

We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant to join our team! Candidate must have a minimum of two years experience with a CPA firm and a bachelor's degree in accounting. Applicant's main duties will be compiling monthly financial statements and preparing corporate and individual income tax returns. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file sales tax and payroll tax returns.
Compile monthly financial statements for a variety of clients
Research and answer tax notices received from the taxing authorities
Prepare corporate, partnership and trust income tax returns
Prepare individual income tax returns

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting
Fundamental knowledge of income tax basis financial statements
Experience with QuickBooks desktop and on-line programs as well as MS Word and Excel
Detail and deadline-oriented
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
