Position Summary:
The Clinical Provider Liaison is responsible for the day-to-day activities of managing a specific clinical service line and assigned to a group of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), together known as ‘clinicians.’ The Program Liaison is key to the success of the Neurology service line’s operational performance and clinical culture, ensuring proactively that clinicians have what they need to succeed and thrive in their clinical work.

Description of Duties/Essential Functions:

  • Function as the key agent for neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with administration including but not limited to:
    1. Build and sustain trust-based relationships with clinicians
      • Regular communication
      • Proactively solve issues that arise
      • Provide resources as needed
      • Advocate for support
    2. Respond timely to clinician needs for administrative support (e.g., Payroll, HR, Legal, Accounting, IT, Revenue Cycle, Clinical Support)
    3. Expedite administration for hiring, onboarding, employment status changes, and offboarding
    4. Fully prepare clinicians for their first shift
    5. Arrange and support clinician training, including with hospital EMR systems
    6. Be the liaison between clinicians, company administration, and clients as needed
    7. Support clinicians to ensure completion of credentialing, licensing, privileging, EMR access and training
    8. Maintain critical information for clinicians’ clinical effectiveness on-shift:
      • Privileging profiles
      • EMR and EEG system access information
      • Client-specific workflows
      • Communicate upcoming changes such as new sites, new workflows, etc
    9. Support clinicians with resolution of technical issues while on-shift
  • Facilitate the management of neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
    1. Communicate company and service line policies
    2. Confirm completion of signed orders, consult notes, and other clinical documentation based on reports from client services
    3. Partner with CLP to ensure appropriate prioritization and communicate with scheduling for first-shift readiness
    4. Anticipate expiration of CLP, EMR access, DEA/CDS, and other necessary elements for clinical work to avoid downtime
    5. Maintain up-to-date information on clinicians’ profiles: work status, contract type, Pod assignment, demographics, etc.
    6. Maintain comprehensiveness and accuracy of administrative datasets utilizing company provided applications
  • Facilitate the administration of Pods or other clinical teams
    1. Organize Pod meetings including but not limited to:
      • Prepare meeting materials
      • Compile meeting minutes
      • Track progress of action items
    2. Support Pod Directors in planning go-lives of new sites and services
    3. Provide performance metrics to Pod Directors and ensure execution of management tasks
    4. Create and provide client calendars as needed


Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of related experience in healthcare or clinical experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
  • Proven interpersonal communication skills through various channels
  • Responsiveness
  • Strong relationship building
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Ability to work independently, but function as part of a team
  • Detail oriented
  • High reliability in follow-through of tasks
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks with guidance

Work Environment:

  • High growth fast paced organization
  • Hybrid: predominantly remote with willingness to travel occasionally to headquarters for key meetings
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
