Sheetmetal Installer (San Diego, CA)

Lead Marine

San Diego, CA, USA

Full Time

$26.00-$28.00

1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm)

Lead Marine is currently looking to hire Sheetmetal Installers & Fabricators for the Shipyard Industry here in San Diego. This Sheetmetal job will be working on Naval Bases & Shipyards from 6:00am to 2:30pm and overtime as needed. DBIDs badge in hand is a plus. Qualified candidates please apply now!

Responsibilities:

Rip out old sheet metal such as bunks, tables, benches.
Repair and install sheet metal ventilation systems, etc.
Work with apprentice and helpers to install new sheet metal parts.
Make sure work site and areas are clean of construction debris.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3 years of construction, sheet metal or shipyard experience.
Must be willing and able to work as a team.
Candidates will be required to get Naval Base Clearance
Must have knowledge of the various types of metals and sizes.
Must have basic tools of the sheet metal trade.
