Shipping Clerk

Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Manufacturing Facility

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurate, properly packaged, and delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and process shipments for domestic and international delivery

- Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments

- Ensure accuracy of shipping documents and labels

- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries

- Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for damages or defects

- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area

- Communicate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products

- Assist with inventory management as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 1-2 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role

- Knowledge of shipping procedures and regulations

- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic computer skills, including experience with shipping software
