WHAT YOU WILL DO

The position will analyze operating financial results and budgets for the company’s client accounts. It will also provide insight and recommendations regarding operations, forecasting, revenue tracking, and process improvements.

You will be the conduit that connects our account team, clients, and local finance team to produce high-quality, timely financial results. We need a self-starter who can operate independently, drive toward results and work within deadlines. The Senior Finance Analyst will be required to prepare detailed analytics, communicate actionable recommendations, and interact effectively with all levels of management within the organization.

  • Support monthly P&L review process by reviewing and analyzing actual versus plan/forecast and preparing monthly variance reports.
  • Monitor P&L lines during financial close; be able to explain variances to forecast and plan.
  • Collaborate with TEAM and other business units to develop monthly financial forecasts incorporating current business trends and strategies.
  • Work closely with the Finance Manager on developing new and update financial reporting and analysis models.
  • Work alongside the Operations business unit to analyze employee utilization vs client budgets.
  • Collects, consolidates, and organizes relevant financial information from internal sources to create and update financial plans and reports. Compiles data into a spreadsheet format and prepares for presentation.
  • Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget, and business within your department and design/ implement solutions to meet those needs.
  • Coordinate preparing and presenting financial results to different audiences, including corporate management and other high-level executives.
  • Drive projects to continuously improve, streamline, and automate financial reporting.
  • This position includes the opportunity to work on special projects that have either been requested by the company’s senior leadership team or identified through normal work routines. Projects typically require the candidate to have a working knowledge of daily operations.
  • Assist with Client Profitability calculations and submit Actual and Forecast figures.
  • Monitor agency expense accounts, highlight trends, and propose forecast changes to support future anticipated spend.

WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

  • Bachelor’s in finance, Accounting or Economics
  • MBA is a plus
  • Advanced level of experience and ability to leverage advanced functionality of Microsoft Excel
  • 4-7 years of experience in financial planning & analysis is required.
  • SAP Business One experience a plus
  • Experience in an agency environment managing multiple clients and internal budgets.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex financial information in an easy-to-follow manner. Strong analytical skills are required.
  • Possess a high level of initiative, follow-through, and accountability for actions.
  • Ability to represent the company in a variety of settings.
  • Outstanding teamwork skills and proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and deadlines
