Our client, who is a professional engineering and consulting company, is currently seeking an Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk for their office in Ferndale, MI. The Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk will create Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word documents from tablets in addition to help answer phone calls.
Pay rate for the Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk is $18.00 - $19 per hour. Work hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. This is a long term contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent..
Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk Job Functions:
- Data entry
- Typing reports and emailing/mailing them
- Proof Reading
- Uploading documents
- Assisting with job invoicing
- Customer Service
- Answering phones
Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk Requirements:
- Proficient MS Excel and Word
- Must type at least 55wpm
- Accounts receivable a plus
- Attention to detail
