A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

As a Construction Manager, you lead small teams on home improvement and remodel projects, delivering the high-quality work our clients have come to expect. As a working supervisor, you balance hands-on work with delegation in order to get each project done right. In addition to painting, you lead teams as they execute everything from basic handyman tasks to full kitchen and bath remodels. You communicate with customers throughout each job, providing progress updates and addressing any concerns they may have.

As the team leader, you take responsibility for the project, ensuring that everything is completed on time and under budget. You understand that our business is built on referrals, so you go out of your way to ensure that our customers are always satisfied. Your satisfaction comes from leading a great team and growing your career alongside our company!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

  • Strong hands-on skills and experience in carpentry
  • Basic knowledge about every skilled trade
  • Comprehensive knowledge of standard construction methods, procedures, and materials
  • Familiarity with current local building codes and safety regulations
  • Experience with estimation, procurement, crew supervision, customer interaction, public relations, and project management
