Summary of Responsibilities:

Support current and future LaserShip territory expansions through sourcing and recruiting of delivery professionals as Independent Contractors. The successful field recruiter will execute the directive communicated and led by the Recruiting Team Lead, supporting sourcing, outreach, vetting, and onboarding of Independent Contractors who will provide delivery services to LaserShip’s field branches. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of growing a field of Independent Contractors for a delivery business. They will understand the legal, regulatory, and operational environment of operating a large Independent Contractor focused business.

Job Requirements:

• Collaborate with Delivery Resources leadership and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies that promote LaserShip’s Independent Contractor model and ensure best practices
• Fill field branch contractor growth needs within agreed upon performance metrics by completing recruiting activities – reviewing and dispositioning leads, conducting phone screens, scheduling contractor open houses, and moving leads through contracting and onboarding process
• Coordinates the on-boarding of all new Independent Contractors including providing and processing of all new contract paperwork, submitting documents, following up with new Independent Contractors to complete, answering any contractor questions, and scheduling and facilitating new contractor business meetings at field branches.
• Prepares electronic contractor e-sign paperwork.
• Acts as a liaison between Delivery Resources and Field Branch Operations to meet expansion, peak, and growth needs.
• Assist the field branches with on-site contractor events, open houses, and onboarding meetings. Will be required to travel as a significant aspect of Field Recruiter Role.
• Assists branch management with sourcing and vetting Independent Contractor Leads.
• Generate weekly productivity reports to monitor individual performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• 2 years full cycle contractor recruiting and sourcing experience
• Proven experience in driving recruiting initiatives
• Growth Acquisition experience at a hyper-growth strongly preferred
• On-Demand / Gig Economy Startup experience strongly preferred
• Experience using an ATS, CRM or other applicant database tool
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, internet and social media research (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Firm understanding of the critical guardrails of operating at a company that works with Independent Contractors
• Manages personal work integrity as an owner of the business. Holds the best interests of the business in mind.
• Critical eye for compliance. Not afraid to raise issues that threaten company’s compliance responsibility.
• Familiar with hyper-growth work pace.
• Ability to work remotely and be self-driven to complete tasks without supervision
• Ability to travel 25% - 50%
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
